Carlsen vs Nakamura

As part of the retrospective exhibition Dag Alveng - Still time, Magnus Carlsen will challenge the ruling world champion of Fischer Random Chess, Hikaru Nakamura. They play an unofficial world championship at Høvikodden in the period February 9-13. It is possible for the audience to participate in the event.

Fischer Random is a special way to play chess where creativity and talent are more important than the ability to memorize. The game was invented by chess master Bobby Fischer.

The matches played in the exhibition will be broadcasted live and Henie Onstad will facilitate activities for the audience, tours and workshops during the period. In Henie Onstad Labben, the youngest can make their own chess-inspired drawings and sculptures.
