Moskus plays Plastic Sun

With infectious playfulness, blind genre mix and great experimental will, Moskus (Anja Lauvdal, piano, Fredrik Luhr Dietrichson, bass, Hans Hulbækmo, drums) has become one of the most important voices of the new generation Norwegian jazz.

With Paul and Carla Bley as inspiration, the band share their references with Svein Finnerud Trio, the Norwegian jazz trio who for decades had Henie Onstads Studiosal as a playground. In the same hall, the trio recorded the album Plastic Sun on February 19, an LP, which has since become one of the most important releases of Norwegian jazz music history.

This first Sunday in advent, Moskus will do their interpretation of Plastic Sun - in the same room, on the same piano - as the original album was recorded.

Henie Onstad welcomes a new meeting with this amazing music!

Before the concert, Audun Wings with guests (TBA) will talk about Plastic Sun, Finnerud Trio and art.
