All visiting children and their families have free access to the workshop Labben. This is a place to work with different artistic techniques. On weekdays from 11 to 17 and on Saturdays, Labben is self-employed and you are invited to make drawings.
On Sundays you can also paint, and get guidance from the art center's educators.
This winter we work with Håkon Bleken as inspiration. His work "Fragments of a Dog's Movements" inspires us. It is on display in the exhibition and this is a great place to start, when you study how a master like Bleken uses the surface and work with movement and angles. In this work we can also see how he works with color and perspective.
In Labben we can test these techniques ourselves and make works of our own favorite animals. Which animal do you want to make a picture of?
For families, Labben works according to the Drop-in principle.
Larger groups must book a slot by contacting firstname.lastname@example.org
